Dear Governor McCrory, Or do I call you Pat? It says "contact Pat", but we have never met, and since I'm a proper North Carolina gal, I think I should call you Governor McCrory. Please help with this.

Also, when I shower this morning, should I wash my hair or just skip it? I think it can go another day, but I'm not sure?

One other thing, I was going to work on my post-tenure review today, but don't know if I should bother if you are going to dismantle public education. Can you get back to me by noon on this one?

That's all for now. I will await your response before I make another move.

Dear Governor McCrory,

Since I last wrote to ask your advice, luckily my husband came home in time for lunch but he allowed me to drive to the restaurant, order what I wanted, and pay for both of us with my credit card. He said that was all right, but I'm not sure I should be making such decisions.

Also, my gynecologist is a woman as is my internist. How are they going to be cleared to give me medical advice? Will we have to wait for you to decide whether to increase my vitamin D intake? And what if my gyn decides to prescribe birth control pills to help alleviate menopausal symptoms? Is that allowed?

I am still waiting responses from you on my previous questions. I am at a loss until then...

Dear Governor Sir,

I understand that women are the weaker sex and I thank you and the Legislature for pointing this out to me. I won't need an abortion since I am past childbearing age but I am scheduled for a mammogram tomorrow. Should I keep the appointment? What if they find something suspicious? Is it ok if they remove it or should I write back when we know more?

Please keep me in your prayers and thoughts as I am sure I will need your guidance more and more in the coming weeks.

Sincerely,

Debbie Leonard
